Another feather painting, this time of a barn owl, my favorite owls. I painted this on a buzzard feather.
Sorry for the sloppy photo, I had to take them to an expo and barely had time to take proper photos. I had no time these days, even now I'm uploading these in a hurry.

Do you just paint or do you prepare it first?

I have a lot of Ibis feathers I want to paint but I don't know if I need to cleen them or prepare
them before I start?

I only spray it with hair spray-fixative. You don't need to clean them.
